Persist Education Services provides prevention and intervention programs for families through 1:1 mentorship for youth and parenting workshops.

Mission

Our mission is to provide children with the resources, tools, and interventions needed to be successful in school and in life.

Vision

Children who participate in Persist Education Services are resilient and equipped with the skills they need to overcome challenges and breakdown barriers to academic success.

    Why Persist Ed.?

    Intentional, Direct, and Research-based

Persist Education Services LLC was created to provide families an alternative to school-based services. Persist Ed. offers comprehensive, educationally-related services to students in junior high and high school. Students who participate in small group or as a mentee gain the knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to achieve academic success.

Using research-based interventions, Persist Ed. provides direct services to students and families to improve and develop prosocial skills, and increase resilience to barriers that impede academic success.

Research driving the services provided by Persist Education Services:

Past and current research on RESILIENCY shows that a child's ability to exhibit a positive, adaptive response to adverse experiences (minor or significant) is dependent on (4) primary factors (Center on the Developing Child, n.d.):

    1. Positive relationships with at least one (1) adult.
    2. The ability to plan, monitor, and regulate behavior.
    3. The presence of adaptive skills (i.e. flexible thinking).
    4. Frequent and positive external experiences
